Riddleofsteel
Wattage is how much power your power supply (PSU) can safely put out to power your components. Some video cards require over 500 and 600 watts. If you have too little power, the video card upgrade you choose might not work.

Riddleofsteel
Hmm, actually you can't find that info from within Vista. About how old is your computer? And did you build it yourself, or did it come already built?

buddah
go here, and look at the recommended upgrades for that computer: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/pfydRes...;chassisid=8474 click on customize this upgrade, then select video cards, the best they recommend is the Radeon HD 2600 PRO. which is the bottom choice on video cards, click on the blue product detains for more information. If you like that card go to newegg and check prices......they are a little cheaper there. Buddah
