dafydd99
Hi all, I want to make a large tree - large enough to be seen on the map. This tree would have two states - alive and dead, and ideally I'd want to be able to see the blossom on the map when alive, and moving (as they do on regular trees) in-game. However unless I'm missing something 'tree' objects won't appear on maps? I also notice I can't disable a static that appears on the map without the game CTD on opening the map. However, I can re-scale with no problem, so could switch between two statics (one live, one dead) but this would lack the tree animation on the living one. I guess an alternative might be for me to generate tree-style branch animation on the nif myself, but I suspect that may be tricky - unless anyone knows of an example where this has been done somewhere? Thanks in advance for any advice. Cheers - dafydd99
dafydd99
Thinking about this a little more, if there was a way for a static to be visible on the map, but not in-game, that would also solve this problem.
