gaoptimize Posted May 11, 2023 Share Posted May 11, 2023 The prelude to the climatic battles for Windhelm or Solitude should be preceded by a naval battle. Have you ever seen the movie "Ben Hur"? Or the naval opening to "Beowulf"? How about "300 - Rise of Empire"? It is fortuitous that both capital cities are ports. It would be so cool if one of the civil war battles took place in the Sea of Ghosts. Ballistae and catapults, archers, ramming, flaming and sinking ships, and boarding melees. I'll be working on a Heimskr mod this summer (enabled by elevenlabs.io), where he will appear in/at all the major civil war battles and make a speech before and or after (adapted from historical battle speeches), and adding hopefully more than ten additional Whiterun speeches (if you are playing the Stormcloak side).
