FlyingWhale44 Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 I hear the sound, I see the icon, but no light is being emitted. How would I go about figuring out the source of this problem? The issue persists even on a fresh save using a default/empty profile in MO2 so am not sure it's anything I can fix by adjusting my loadorder it seems.
potateskymenow Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 I have the same issue , sometimes but not always , I change my outfit and the flashlight works again.I have not had this issue for a while so I think I may have deleted a clothing mod . I use vortex for the mods .
RoNin1971 Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Check your fallout 4's data folder for 'remnants' of mods.MO2 keeps 'm separate, afaik, & using an empty profile is like not using any mods at all, but 'something' is messing up your game.Any loose file can cause that, as they gt loaded but you don't see any of it in your "load order". (They simply are the last to load, overruling anything else loaded before) If that doesn't solve it, use steam to check the installed files and repair your fo4 install, if needed. Beyond that ... no idea.
