HELP! GAME CRASHES WHEN LOADING GAME SAVES AFTER MODDING.

I recently modified my game and now when I attempt to load a save, the game crashes. I have created a new save and have switched to the Resistance! world parameter, but the game still crashes. Are my previous saves compromised, and what measures can I take to fix the issue and access my saved data?

To ensure your previous game saves remain unaffected, it's worth noting that the game is synced with a cloud-based server.

Before we proceed, please ensure that you have downloaded and installed Net5. Although Windows Update may have already taken care of this, it's essential to confirm.

Regarding the mods you have installed, I don't have specific information, but I can inform you that the "ESS Crossbow Yellow Lens" mod was the cause of my game crashing. However, regardless of the mods you have, I recommend deleting the entire "Extracted" folder. You can locate this folder in your GRB Game Directory along with the AnvilToolkit application. Remove the "Extracted" folder from both locations.

Afterward, return to the "GRB Game Directory" and open the "Backup" folder. Copy the "DataPC_Resources_patch_01.forge" file and paste it directly into the GRB Game Directory (where you should currently be located). When prompted, confirm the override.

These steps should help optimize your game performance and resolve any issues caused by the mentioned mod or other factors.

After completing the previous steps, you should now use the Ubisoft Connect application to verify your game files. This process will help ensure that all game files are intact and free from any issues. Once the verification is complete, try launching the game directly from the Ubisoft Connect application. This will help confirm if any remaining issues have been resolved.

Additionally, to further enhance your modding experience with better clarity and ease, I have created a forum post that provides installation instructions. You can find it at the following link:

@FPSBRONSON: Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to my question. You are correct, as the Diaz glasses were cornuting my game. I deleted the and repacked the .forge file, but no luck. I had to start from scratch and install everything EXCEPT the glasses and the game save now works. Again, thank you for taking the time to respond, and if I can be of assistance to you, please let me know.

Yes, actually I do have a question. Is there a tool that's available where I can see the textures inside of the .data files of Breakpoint? Thank you for reading?
