Levels 20+ unnecessary ?

I ask because I found that at level 20, my character can cope with pretty much anything the Wasteland and it's denizens can throw at me. By the time you max out at level 20, if you take the right perks and collect your bobbleheads and skill books, you can easily have the majority of your skills at 100. At level 20, I think a character doesn't need to get much more powerful, there doesn't seem to be much point in it. The only thing I like about more levels is the extra perks you can take.

 

Seeing as how most of the creatures and NPCs are leveled to the player, I don't really have any motivation to go any higher in level personally, what's your opinion?

considering the ridiculousness of some of the new monsters it is kind of nice to have the extra perks and levels.

It got kind of boring without the ability to level, get new perks etc. As someone else said, some of the npc's and monsters are quite powerful. No one-shot kills.

I have many difficulty increasing mods, so levels above 20 are very helpful to have.

there were still a few perks I wanted at level 20.....

and my lockpick/science skills (for terminals and locks) weren't at 100, so there was still stuff I couldn't crack

Yeah, if you include the rest of the stuff in BS then the 30 cap is pretty useful (curse you, albino radscorpion!)
