Constant CTD's (Crash to Desktop)

I've just downloaded a couple of mods I wanted to use, and I constantly get CTD'd for some reason. I'm using:

Terminator: Cybernetic Dawn(http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5365),

the Cyberware add-on for above(http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5632),

Existence 2.0(http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5612),

A follower friendly personal vault(http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1658)

The crash happens when I go to the Battle of Fairfax(a custom map marker added(supposedly) by Cybernetic Dawn), loot the corpses there, and try to save or fast travel, thereby prompting an auto-save. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm running Fallout on Windows XP Media center edition SP2, and downloaded the latest patch today due to crashing when first using Cybernetic Dawn. If any of the mods are non-compatible in some way, just tell me which and I'll have to sacrifice one.

I'll check back for answers in approximately 10 hours.

Thanks in advance,

Dave

You say you downloaded the latest patch, meaning patch 1.5?

Patch 1.5 is notorious for causing all sorts of nasty things happen, especially when it comes to mods. Especially crashing, that's one of the top side effects.

My first piece of advice would be to reinstall and do not update to 1.5, instead get the fake patch or something. Avoid 1.5 like the plague.

Another option is FO3Edit...using the instructions below fixed my location mod as well as several others.

If you are having problems with Patch 1.5 and my hideout please see the following mod: FO3Edit by ElminsterEU

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637

Through my limited amount of testing this fixes any Megaton, auto-save crashes etc...

Steps for use:

1. Download FO3Edit

2. Copy the FO3Edit.exe to desktop

3. Rename to F03MasterUpdate

4. Open up FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) and check a mod

5. Click the FO3MasterUpdate.exe (then close window when it done)

6. Launch Fallout 3 through FOMM and viola!

You do not need to install the esp that comes with FO3Edit. And you will need to do this each time you install a new mod. (thanks Tavone)If Bethesda ever fixes the problems caused by the 1.5 patch, then rename the .exe to FO3MasterRestore.exe and again run the program and it should do exactly what it says...restore your mods.

Hope that helps. Good luck.
