Spaztrooper
Hello, I have been having the idea of a CTF style game play in fallout for awhile. I have already started work on this mod and could REALLY use some help. My original post did not get the attention I was expecting (Probably because it didn't provide any information) so here is my ENTIRE outline of what I have in mind. Again, I have already started work on this idea and just need help in any and all areas. This IS NOT a request for someone else to take on the project. It would make me sad if someone made it using my template and claimed it as their own  Here is the outline in my image: Table of Contents 1. Factions 2. Faction Bases 3. Control Points 4. Rules -----------------1. Factions----------------- Involved Factions: - Caesars Legion - New California Republic - Brotherhood of Steel - Powder Gangers - The Kings - Player (Independant) -----------------2. Faction Bases----------------- # Each Faction Base has it's own benefits! 1. Caesars Legion: Cottonwood Cove Benefits: Because Cottonwood is a major hub for troops and supplies this base will recieve more troops, better equipment and a steady supply income. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ 2. New California Republic: Camp McCarran Benefits: If controlled, Camp McCarran grants a Faction better gaurded control points. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ 3. Brotherhood of Steel: Hidden Valley Bunker Benefits: If Hidden Valley is seized, a Faction is granted energy weapons for all control points.______________________________________________________________________________________________ 4. Powder Gangers: NCRCF (New California Republic Correctional Facility) Benefits: The Powder Gangers have instructions on how to make mines and nades! If you control NCRCF, the outskirts of all control points are laced with traps!______________________________________________________________________________________________ 5. The Kings: Freeside Benefits: The King is pretty charasmatic, everyone will fight a bit harder now! If Freeside is captured, your army recieves +5 DT and and an increase in firepower! POW!______________________________________________________________________________________________ 6. Player: The Strip Benefits: So you own The Strip huh? Well, let me introduce you to the Robot army that will accompany your factions control points. Adds a few Securitrons to each control point.______________________________________________________________________________________________ -----------------3. Control Points----------------- # Control Points are flags in each town and base that has strategic value and benefit. In order to capture a control point you first lower the flag, raise the flag, coordinate your troops and set up defences (all done automatically) which will take 10 minutes (real time minutes). When a control point is captured you reap all the benefits of that town/base. A control point goes through a cool down of 30 minutes (real time) before it can be seiged again. After the cool down is over many enemy factions will begin to attack your control point during different times. Points of Capture: -The Mojave Outpost: Caravans come through here. Enjoy the increase of supplies. -Emergency Service Railyard: You have access to the railroads. Now troops can occupy control points faster. -3 Minutes capture time. -Novac: Sniper tower, caravans, next to a highway...hmmm. Looks like supplies move faster to your location! Increase in supply output. -Searchlight Airport: Call in a care package! No seriously. You can do it. Once every day of course. -Camp Forlorn Hope/Ranger Station Delta: Take pot shots at traveling supply ships! Regulate what goes on down in your hood! By controlling this area you put a dent in the amount of supplies your enemies recieve. -Sloan: You have gained the equipment and man power to upgrade your defenses! -Black Mountain: Finally! You can better coordinate supplies and troop movement and hey... no harm in listening in on your enemies comms right? Supplies get to you faster, -3 minutes capture time, listen in on enemy movements to hurt their capture time and troop movement. +5 minute capture time for all enemy factions. -188 Trading Post: This place has it all! Weapons, Armor, Food, and Aid! All troops get upgraded equipment and an increase in hit points. -The Dam: You did it? Wow...Well, you regulate the waters and power. Major increase in supplies and hell why not shut off power in a town or base of your choice once a day? Doing so will render all enemy defences useless. -Red Rock Canyon: Dont they make drugs here? You dope your troops on the good stuff to give them that extra boost in combat giving them more strength but they can't aim if their lives depended on it. Litterally. They all face - 10 Guns. -Camp Golf: The Misfits learned something there maybe your troops can? Your army earns more hit points and added firepower! -H&H Tools Factory: You now have the means to upgrade your freakin turrets. -Nellis Airforce Base: Just call in the coordinates and the Boomers will do the rest. Nuff said. -----------------4. Rules----------------- - Minutes are in real time. Days are in game time. - Certain fast travel locations will be disabled near enemy control points. Capture control points to unlock them. - Every army runs on supplies, you are not exempt. You will recieve a steady 100 supplies a day which is needed to capture control points and upgrade certain bases. Supplies can be increased by capturing certain control points. - As mentioned, there is a 30 minute cool down after a control point is captured, meaning you can not attack or be attacked after you capture a control point for 30 minutes. - The enemy will be strategic. They will attack at random times, various amounts of numbers or even try to hunt you down when you are out and about. - Every captured control point has a Coordinator standing next to the flag. He is nuetral to all and can not be killed. Talk to him if you want to coordinate attacks or see what a faction controls. This is just a general outline that I will be following, if you have any ideas to improve this, I appreciate it greatly  My inspiration comes from the games "Fallen Earth" and "Dark Age" Spaz PS: If you would like to view/save the .txt I have it uploaded.
