Floyd2739 Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 I'm new to modding, so sorry if this is a stupid question. If I'm trying to make it look like there's coffee in a mug (specifically the item Black Coffee from Honest Hearts), can I just retexture the item, or do I need to edit the mesh too?
sullyvanj93 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 I just looked at the mesh, and it is carved out to simulate the emptiness of the mug. You could simply color the inside a dark color, but I don't think it'd look as accurate as you're wanting it to be. Editing the mesh would allow for it to actually look full. I did some additional digging and noticed that Honest Heart's "Black Coffee" did not alter the mesh at all, so when you drop the coffee, it looks identical to an empty mug. Disappointing, but I guess they had more important things to work on.
