rextable Posted May 18, 2023 Share Posted May 18, 2023 Hello all Just a quick question: Using FO4Edit, how can I identify whether or not a weapon mod has NPC sounds? I ask because, looking at my existing weapon mod collection - some of which have NPC sounds and some of which do not - I can't see why one mod does and another one doesn't. For example: If I use the MG42 JSRS patch, both the player and NPCs have the correct firing sounds. In its esp files there are clearly labelled player and NPC sound descriptors. Great - easy! However, in Tooun's USP pistol mod - which features custom player and NPC sounds natively - there is no mention whatsoever of NPC sounds anywhere in its esp, yet it has them in game. Furthermore, some weapons mods (eg MP5 complex) appear to have NPC sound descriptors in their esp files and yet only vanilla NPC weapon sounds are heard in game. Why is this?
