tributaryrose
Every time I use a plugin that goes to the obse directory (ex. Graphics Extender, Pluggy UV) "NULL" appears in the top left of my screen when i run the game and my character turns glowy red. Help?
dezdimona
are you launching your game using OBSE? If not try launching your game by using OBSE exe

dezdimona
you installed OBse in its proper place? It does not go in your game daya folder, thats the most common mistake made
Lucherenren
Like Dezi said, this small gem has to go in the right place. For ease of reference, the OBSE documentation page, so far; http://obse.silverlock.org/obse_command_doc.html Just to be sure, I'd also make sure you've installed the extras where they actually belong (the aptly named "Plugins" directory), and double-check the plugins' very own readmes. Lucherenren
you installed OBse in its proper place? It does not go in your game daya folder, thats the most common mistake made where does it go? Main Oblivion directory, one step above Data. See this from the README file of v. 0017a: 1. Copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_0.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, and obse_loader.exe to your Oblivion directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder, and should contain files called "Oblivion.exe" and "OblivionLauncher.exe". 2. Run oblivion by running obse_loader.exe from the Oblivion directory. There, you're set.

Two more questions then:- which version of Windows you're using;- how many mods are you loading? Also, which release of OBSE? Is Oblivion patched in any way, as well? For a comparison, my installation is running smoothly with the latest patch, latest OBSE, and a few plugins (plus OBMM as well) - on a Vista Home SP1 system.
