oosnex Posted December 25, 2013 Share Posted December 25, 2013 I'm trying to make things like power fists use energy cells, but when I change the ammunition type from NONE to AmmoListSmallEnergyCell, it stops working in-game. The power attack no longer works; only the basic attack and sneak attack work. Ammo use also does not work. In the Pip-Boy, it will list the item as using energy cells, and even show the clip size, but when it is equipped and the Pip-Boy is closed, it doesn't show any ammo on the HUD. devinpatterson Posted December 25, 2013 Share Posted December 25, 2013 Hmmmm I'm not sure, I havn't tried that, but you might have an easier time making a script/object effect. If you right a simple script that subtracts 1 energy cell, that should simulate ammo use. Try it (IIRC it's right under the name box) and if it doesn't work then you'll have to make an object effect. They aren't complicated but they'r a little annoying the first time you do them. There are some tutorials for object/script effects on the TES construction set wiki adn there was/is a really good one with tonics on nexus (it's a mod, but has a tutorial included).
