Shifting Over to Vortex from NMM

So, I'm attempting to move all of the mods I downloaded and managed through Nexus Mod Manager to Vortex using the automated import button. However, whenever I try it says there are 0 mods, despite when I look in the folder I can see the 120+ mods I have right there. Uploading them manually also works just fine, but for some reason the process cannot be automated. Any advice or help people can provide would be much appreciated.

This is not the Nexusmods position, but this is the way I would do it. I don't trust the import facility...

 

1) Given: You have available all your mod archives, from wherever you downloaded them. (zip, rar, 7z, whatever)

2) Using NMM, uninstall all your mods. Check your game directory - it should be as clean as a fresh install.

3) If not, delete everything not from Bethesda, and use Steam to validate your directory.

4) Drag all those archives (maybe 20 at a time) to the Vortex window and let Vortex install them.

5) Enable all, resolve any conflicts, and Deploy.

6) Come back here if you have problems - and don't ever use NMM on a game you are managing with Vortex.
