CapNKirkland
i've just started a new game with new mods and while everything so far looks amazing and im proud that i got everything working to great immersive effects (or so i thought) i came across the event where some of the companions are fighting the giant outside of hunningbrew meadow, only to find their weapons to be bright purple.. i have a feeling that its because the weapon and shield are enchanted but i haven't gotten very far in the game as im trying to fix this.. so far no luck http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=207979546http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=207979664 the current list of all my mods are: A Matter Of Timea quality World Map--aMidianBorn Book of Silence - AmrorsCreaturesdragonborn DLCUnique ItemsWeapons--Audio Overhaul for Skyrim + Climates of Tamriel, Enhanced Blood Textures - legendary Dawnguard AND Dragonborn patchesBandoiler Bags and PouchesHD Dragon Replacer PackBetter dynamic SnowBetter EmbersConvenient HorsesDYNAVISIONEnhanced Blood Textures+patchEnhanced Horse SkinsEnhanced Lights and FXHigh quality 3D MapIMAGINATORImmersive ArmorsiHudLeft Hand RingsNatural NudesClimates of TamrielPure Waters Skyrim Flora OverhaulSkyrim Sunglare - no lense flareSkyUIStatic Mesh Imrpovement mod +updateUnread Books GlowXCE Xenius Character EnhancementUnnoficial patches for everything. no dirty edits, all cleaned with TES5edit and load orders managed by BOSS Edited December 26, 2013 by CapNKirkland
Oubliette
It isn't an enchantment - it's a missing texture. Try installing aMidianborn's weapons. If the textures are still purple after that then it means your overtasking your computers ability to render everything in the game and you should probably remove some graphics mods. Wolfpretzel
Just came across this problem myself for the first time - probably because I started a new game. If you haven't fixed it yet, it is because of missing textures from aMidianBorn's Skyforge textures are missing. Go to the aMidianBorn Book of Silence page (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24909) and download the Skyforge Hotfix at the bottom of the files page. You will need to extract the texture files to your Skyrim folder. Fixed it for me! WP

Jeroenr99
Sorry for the double necro, but after a month of trying to figure this one out, I almost gave up moments ago. Then I bumped into this... So, many thanks!
DesoZaKiddo
there is also a case on which, if using MO it wont detect conflict/ overwrite, but still produce color textureeither vram or mod conflict that edit the same actor or mesh and texture, in my case.
