FO3 + FOOK + MMM + FWE + XFO

I have these mods installed with FOIP and some other mods as well. It all seems to behave properly. The one issue I am having is that I am finding it extremely difficult to survive. I walk out of the building at the start (I assume that is from FWE). I have a laser pistol that I may be able to kill 3 or 4 dogs with. I have a combat knife and a few stims. I try avoiding people because they annihilate me.

 

Any ideas or tips on initial survival?

Correct me if i am wrong but

XFO is an overhaul of balance like FWE

but XFO is a bit outdated , so you should remove it

and use FWE at the moment.

I use FOOK + MMM + FWE and its a bit challenging but not so so hard

Maybe you should alterate your Difficulty setting ... mine is Normal

Thanks for the info. I just started, so much can be wrong :) I am have to figure out a mesh issue or do a reinstall. If I reinstall, it will be without XFO next time

If you have not played the game before, then you should not alter the difficulty much.

 

Play for a bit to get a hang of things. Once things start becoming "old hat" and you know your way around places, go back and start a new character and play with the mods you want.

 

Only a suggestion, but I would really reccomend it. That is exactly what I did. And I think it made the game more fun for me.
