kirshan
Please help me. I'm sort of new to modding, I'm comfortable with the CS to a point I don't have many problems using the stock Oblivion parts. My problem is with Resources, I download them, I try to install them, I open the CS and I only have stock Oblivion parts. Now first off I'm not a computer guy, my back ground is in the construction field, I've tried to find out how to use them using Wiki tutorials, Could someone please explain the process to me, Slowly, like you would explain to a 7 year old. every thing I've found is geared to people that have modded for awhile, I'm just starting, I can't read between lines, I'm just not knowledgeable enough yet to understand quick explanations. I'm asking here because I respect the hard work everyone puts into their work, Many mods have greatly enhanced my enjoyment playing Oblivion I want to try to give something back to this community. So a SLOW step by step instruction would be the best I could ask for. Thank you all for your great works. Kirshan

You create a name folder for your item, and add the nif to it ie: data\ meshes\clutter\your folder. do the same with your texture. then make sure you have nifskope installed, double click your nif.Once the image is loaded click on it, then look to the left, you'll see a highlighted section. Under it is a purple flower, click on it go to your texture and load the texture. now go to the cs, install oblivion go to clutter. click on an item.In the name change the ID to aaa your item click ok, new ID created now click your item open it and install your nif in place of the existing one. go down to containers and create a container in the same fashion. open your container once its all created go back to your item and drag it to the chest, item is now in the chest. now go to the ares screen and click on where you want to put your container. move in on an area drag your container and Hit "f" container will fall then you can position it wher eyou want .
