about the Ghoul named Gallo

hi, i went in Sewer Waystation (sewer mainline) and entered gallo's place and killed him, hes got a terminal, and hacked it, told me something like "disengaged the lock", what lock has been disengaged??? thnx for your help.

oh, iv already lock picked the safe anyway, so wont need it thou. i was wondering what the terminal was for actually...? thnx.

That'll happen a lot. (The safe-terminal combo, that is.)

Bethesda did that so people who have EITHER high Lockpick OR high Science skills can get into the safes (low Lockpick/high Science = use terminal, high Lockpick, low Science = pick safe)

but I use a Skeleton Key (mod) to unlock everything, but I do the terminals too just cause I'm anal :P

do both... pick the lock and use the computer terminal.... you get exp for both.

When I encounter a safe/terminal combo, I always bruteforce the safe. I get two tries(infiltrator perk), so unless it's VH or I'm really unlucky, I usually get in. Should the lock break, I go brute force the terminal once, then on the second try(Comp Whiz perk), I actually spend the time clicking the random characters to remove duds, and if I replenish, I brute force 3 tries :)
