[SSE] Combat accessibility request [disabled player]

Hello, I have muscle issues and would like to make my gameplay easier, mainly by minimizing unnecessary clicking.

From a logical standpoint, combat is particularly challenging. Character movement is easier (less repetition, no fast action here).

#1 First idea.

While reading about a mod (polymorph), I came across an interesting line: "To attack, approach a hostile target and you will attack automatically."

Could this approach be implemented in combat overall? I would like to play the game normally with my character, having them attack without my input. There are some mods that enable continuous hitting when clicking once, but this still drains my energy. If my character could attack on his own, it would make my job easier and allow for longer gaming sessions. I could then use another mod to lock onto targets and move around to have my character attack.

I believe there is an automatic casting mod, but it seems to be focused only on casting and not solely combat-oriented. Simulating the entire combat with this mod would likely be difficult, even with "locking on" modifications. At most, I could use an overpowered spell once to defeat enemies, but that's not what I'm looking for.

#2 Second idea.

I'm also wondering if it's possible to add NPC-like AI behavior to my player character.

Followers can take care of themselves in combat. Is it feasible to incorporate automatic combat behavior for my character? I would focus on what I can do, such as moving and interacting with the world. If a combat situation arises, my character would engage in an automatic (NPC-like) behavior pattern, running and fighting enemies on their own.

<><> Explanations

I understand that most people might find this unusual, but Skyrim is not only a combat-oriented title. For individuals with disabilities or those in need of higher accessibility, this solution could provide an opportunity to explore Skyrim's fantasy world and enjoy the story / quests. Together with modding (on this area there is no other game like Skyrim).

Regarding playing on god mode, I would prefer to watch my character fight rather than use it. Additionally, it doesn't address my clicking issue.

Regarding follower usage, I will certainly utilize them. However, I was hoping to have my character involved as well since Skyrim emphasizes character progression and leveling. I would enjoy acquiring new weapons or perks and using them to some extent.

<><><> Request for help

I would greatly appreciate any assistance with both ideas, although the second one is more important (though perhaps more challenging). I would greatly appreciate if you can recommend mod authors who might have knowledge about what I've mentioned, or if you know someone who understands how to add similar automatic states or behaviors.

I would appreciate if mod authors (people experienced with creating mods) could contribute and voice themselves as well.

~ I realize that SkyTrek SE could be perhaps used similarly. But I wanted to request a mod more directly focused on combat itself. SkyTrek's focus is different and while I intend to use it for other reasons - I hoped its approach to combat could be done in a better way.

<><><> Mod development

I was told this:

"There's a papyrus function, Game.SetPlayerAIDriven() that I think would allow you to run an AI Package on the player. Put that on a magic effect tied to an ability with an IsInCombat condition to trigger when in combat. OnEffectStart SetPlayerAIDriven(true) and OnEffectFinish set it to false. This would mean the player is controlled by AI only during combat, which will be detected by the game engine so should be fairly reliable, though might trigger when still far away or in stealth. I'm not sure how possible it would be to disable it once the AI had taken over as well.

Thinking about it a bit, it might be able to use the existing follower AI package with some slight modifications. Basically just turn the NPC into a vanilla follower during combat."

This offers some hope, as certain enemy/follower combat AI packages are very decent. Especially custom ones. I would be most likely fine with something more default too.

This change from manual control to AI combat would have to be automatic, since like I said I would like to play normally outside of combat. Combat is really something entirely different - Requiring fast adaptions/changes, more clicking, generally far more exhaustion (for someone like me).
