sx78
So... hey guys. I have a little problem here that I can't fix myself.http://i42.tinypic.com/n3432u.jpg As you can see those purple stones are not exactly right :tongue:This problem suddenly occured a few days ago.I've already tried searching for this problem and tried all the solutions I could find on Google (uninstall texture mods, reinstall texture mods, reinstall Skyrim, disable my ENB, pray to the Daedra Lords...) but none of them worked so far. Only texture mods I'm using are: HD2k textures and the Project Parallax for HD2k Don't really want to write down all of them because I have a ton of mods currently running (which might also be the problem). But if you really need to know all of the mods I'll post them. (Maybe there is a way to export my modlist to a txt ^^') Yeah... thats it I think. If you guys need some more information on something I'll happily provide it. PS: thats the only texture that is missing. Everything else is fine.
DanielCoffey
Are you using SMIM? If you are, you should make sure you are using the 1.59 main file and the 1.60b hot fix as there was a very similar issue with "dirt skirts" in SMIM that was hot fixed. bben46
The purple is a missing texture. The first clue is it started a few days ago. - What did you change just before it started? could be a new mod, could be removing a mod, could be a mod load order change. But something was changed. Not all texture changes come from the texture only mods - many mods add their own textures as well - that's why you want to read the documentation for each mod before installing it ( maybe the author has the fix already in the documentation) You don't have to write down your mods, copy/paste built into Windows that works with the forums and nearly everything else is much easier. However we would prefer to see a BOSS log instead of just a list - you do use BOSS don't you? If not - then get it and use it - it often fixes these kind of problems before you even see them. And makes it easier to track them down if it doesn't just fix them. BOSS is NOT a mod and does not install like a mod - so be sure to read the documentation to see how to install, and how to use it.http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6/? READ or you will not be able to install it properly.
sx78
Also thanks for the help :)But I've already fixed it. Don't know why, but I somehow deleted my SMIM. Reinstalling it fixed it.
