Springlake
I'm trying to re-texture a vanilla Power Armor but just can't get it to work. I'm quite sure the trouble is in NifSkope and with me having no idea what so ever what I'm doing. Pointers at to what I'm supposed to do would be appreciated. :)
Springlake
Ok, so I solved the NifSkope problem. Now I have the problem of the NIF file looking alright in NifSkope, but completely bright red when I try to import it to the GECK. Could anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? neunen
make sure that in nifskope you texture paths read like this: textures\armor\whateverfolder\file.dds and not just armor\whateverfolder\file.dds if the parent textures directory is missing, nifskope will be fine with it, but the geck wont
Springlake
Done that already. Just noticed this message in the GECK: "TEXTURES: texture does not contain mipmaps & will not be used : (location of textures)" That's strange, since I'm using the high-res Outcast textures from Zafoga's 'High Res - Outcast Power Armour' mod. Ok, since I've downloaded the original photoshop file I guess I'll go back to the basic and try to save them as a DDS file myself.
