The Vile Lair/Battlehorn Castle/The thieves Den Reborn

I would like to start by saying i have no modding experience, but i am a writer (books not code) so i have alot of ideas.

Also i do not own any of the official dlc houses for pc on acount of bethsofts site being down, but i have played them on 360, so i am just assuming frostcrag reborn is as awesome as it looks.

Now my idea is to change the other three Downloadable houses to make them more interesting by adding additions, new items/features, and also some sort of questline (similar to Avalon in fcrb) for each house.

A short summary of ideas for each house is listed below, with more detailed descriptions in the next three posts

Thieves Den: An actual working pirate ship with the ability to go out and attack other ships, and maybe some sort of small island town.

Vile Lair: A new set of challenging and interesting detailed assassination quests, and the ability to take on and train a young disciple.

Battlehorn castle: The marauders who are attacking the castle are a much larger force that will continue there attacks and eventually need to be traced back to there base and exterminated, also the ability to develop the castle adding things like farmland, houses, and an inn.

The Thieves Den

for the thieves den, once you completely upgrade the cove you get the option to purchase your own ship, maybe from a retired sailor. another option could be that one of your crew finds it beached on the coast and you must repair it. name your ship and maybe pick from a list of flags. this will also add a new passage to a nearby cave were your ship will be located, and maybe a deep vault for storing booty

Also maybe some variety allowing you to pick different people to hire for your crew.

Once you have the ship and the crew you have the option of taking it out to plunder, then the player will be transported to another worldspace were your ship is already attached to another and your crew can begin boarding, you fight through the enemies on the ship and take whatever supplies you can, then sink the ship and return to base.

Also each time you set out there is a percent chance of what kind of ship you will encounter, A lightly armed merchant vessel, another merchant ship owned by a rich company with private guards, an imperial legion ship full of soldiers waiting to arrest you, a slave ship with the option of setting the slaves free for a nice pirate, or killing them for whatever meager belongings they have.and maybe even a chance to encounter a ghost ship.

maybe after enough successful raids one of your crew comes to you with a map of an island settlement that you can attack for great rewards

Also i'd like to encorporate a multi-ship battle somehow,

Battlehorn Castle

After you clear out the marauders attacking the castle at the quest start, you will hear something like "thank the nine you chased them off but they'll be back..." so as you upgrade the castle it will be under attack often and you will need to upgrade its defenses, by hiring more guards, and maybe defend against siege equipment. also add something like balistae and wall archers,

after surviving enough attacks you must eventually lead a group of guards up into the mountains to attack the marauders stronghold.

after the threat is over maybe you have the option of adding farms and farmland to the area around the castle along with some other small buildings, maybe even build a new wing to the castle.
