Murk132
So from what I understand, Patch 1.5 introduced a new feature where DLSS would automatically disable when entering menus like the map and inventory screens to reduce blurriness no matter what settings you change. While good intentioned, it has introduced an issue that I and many, many others have been dealing with for more than a year now. When entering the menus screen, the framerate dips dramatically, depending on what resolution you're playing at, sometimes into single digits for multiple seconds. This issue persists when exiting the menus, sometimes permanently until either reloading a save or, in some cases, a full restart of the game. This problem has made the game unplayable for many of us unless we disable ray tracing features, lower the resolution, or sometimes both which is obviously not ideal considering the game ran perfectly fine when entering and exiting menus prior to 1.5. No amount of customer support tickets or bug reports have resulted in any fixes from CD Projekt Red, we've tried and they've done nothing about it. For information regarding this issue, simply searching "Cyberpunk 2077 Menu Lag" will clue you in to just how many people suffer from this issue and how in demand a fix like this would be. Cheers.
