I would guess it works by making the underware invisable

 

Open up the type 3 archive an look for a texture in there

 

that's underware or use a BSA unpacker like FOMM to find the

 

vanilla version to find the name.

 

 

I think FOOK has a retexture of underware

There is no underwear to make invisable with Type 3. Vanilla underwear is part of the female body nif.

 

It would require a non-nude texture, and I'm not sure if there is one. Luchaire's Type V body uses the same UV map, and he created armors that are compatible with Type 3, so maybe he has a non-nude texture. If not, you could always PM Dimon or Luchaire and ask if they would create a non-nude texture. If you have the time, interest and skill, you could make one yourself.

You could always use another outfit as the default naked body. Like copy and rename the microbikini mesh as femaleupperbody.nif and drop it in meshes\characters\_male\. Then when you're "naked", you'll have the bikini on.
