DarthNegro Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 So I recently clean installed Skyrim SE and I was adding a collection I have used before with no issues, only now Vortex tells me that it *can not install "Insert mod here" in a sandbox* and then I get these red messages as well (see attached images). I have Vortex as well as Skyrim both installed onto an external hard drive. I also asked in the discord for the specific collection I downloaded and I am the black sheep with this issue. Can anyone enlighten me to possible solutions/cases for this? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
jaydawg55 Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Did you fix the loose files issue? If not, just push the button 'Fix' and Vortex does the rest. I am guessing that your Miri mod did not install because it is an adult mod. Could you have parental controls set on your new laptop? The other errors say that you have not installed mods that the Collection mods depend on. The mods in the Collection will not run correctly (or at all) if you don't install their dependencies. The name of each dependency mod is stated in each error message. I would install them first and then re-try installing the Collection. Didn't the Collection's description include any information about dependencies?

Didn't the Collection's description include any information about dependencies? This is my computer, it isn't a laptop nor do my parents have anything to do with it. I stopped the installation and removed the collection because of the previously stated issue of Vortex claiming that * "Insert mod here" can not be installed in a secure sandbox" and shortly afterward CBPC failed to install. I have both Vortex and Skyrim installed on an external hard drive, is there anything else that could cause an issue? Also I am on Windows 10 OS and like I said before, I followed the instructions for the collection and I have had the collection before and it was working. I spoke with a few individuals on the Discord for the collection and this issue is new to them and I am the first to have it so they pointed me here. [Edit] I believe the red messages are a failure on my part with windows firewall perhaps, but the other message is still a mystery to me.
