payday2 CarryStacker issues

I've recently picked up Payday 2 again and had to reinstall all my mods after setting up a new windows on a new SSD.
One mod from back in the day I, for the life of me, couldn't redownload properly is CarryStacker.

I'm used to people villanizing mods and the people using them, but it's really just something else with CarryStacker.
Why are people so touchy about me, a person who soley plays solo/offline, using a mod that makes my experience not easier, but just less tedious?

There are functioning releases of it on both ModWorkshop & GitHub, but they with their little "Trolls", like not being able to move, or bags disappearing when throwing them.
I thought I was smart enought to just take these releases and just modify them in a way, so they just function normally - turns out, I was wrong.

What are your guys' opinions on these type of mods?
And do any of you have a functioning version of CarryStacker?
