So I was a lil bored after oblivion crashed and corrupted a damn good save ( $%!% game..). Anywho, I got to thinking how there are times where you want to literally stop an enemy in their tracks, but you don't have any paralize potions or your spell skill is just too low.

 

Also its a bit boring when you see an enemy slowly topple over like they jus turned to stone, lol.

 

So what could be more fun? Think a cage that drops around the target.

-If possible it would scale to the size of the creature/person encased.

-Would come in several "varieties"

-Flimsy - 5-10 seconds, Light -10-30 stones

-Stout - 15-20 seconds, Weight undetermined atm

-Daedric - 60 seconds, Extremely heavy 100-200stones

 

The idea is simply a different and fun way to use crowd control, or give yourself a little extra time to escape an otherwise " oh crap im screwed " situation.

 

Ideally they would be sold from blacksmiths.
