vSHADOWVIPERv
Good morning y'all, I hope you are well.I rarely have time to get on the forums but this morning I felt compelled to jump on here real quick and post this up to see if I could get a little help from my peers out there. I want to create two mods One for Skyrim SE and one for Fallout 4. I have begun writing a script, researching free to use music , sounds etc. and have a general overall idea of what I want to accomplish with said mods.I am brand new at actually attempting to create a mod coming in solid green. For this reason, I want to ask are there any good basic easy to understand guides out there that you advanced users out there could suggest to get me started? Again, I am a complete noob at CC so I'm starting from 0I also would like to know is it easier and more stable to create a new world space or just add a new location on the standard world space for FO4 and Skyrim SE?any helpful suggestions would be appreciatedThanks
xkkmEl
I am willing to help (feel free to PM me), but keep in mind that my experience is with Skyrim LE and I will have knowledge gaps when it comes to FO4 and (to a lesser degree) SSE. I do not know of any comprehensive guide for beginning modders, though there are plenty of video tutorials to get started with the CK. Creating a new worldspace is appropriate only if you have new outdoor areas disconnected from the main one (accessible through load doors). All interior spaces need to be in the "Interior" worldspace. That said, yes, it is usually easier and safer to do a separate worldspace than to modify an existing space without breaking what was there originally, if you are doing a significant amount of landscaping. But then you still need to modify existing spaces to insert your load doors...
