Mod Request: Change Flashpoint Cape

Hi everyone. Is it possible to make a mod that swaps out the cape on the Flashpoint suit, but only when gliding? It's possibly my favourite suit in the game, but it looks ridiculous when gliding. So I was just wondering if someone could make a mod that swaps the cape gliding mesh to another cape so it eliminates the silly gliding look.

 

I realise there's some sort of tool that allows people to swap meshes in game. But frankly, it seems rather complicated and liable to cause more issues than it's worth.
