Different sound effects?

I'm not sure if this is even a technical issue or not, but it makes it somewhat hard for me to do things in-game, and it's hard to explain.

I've played Fallout 3 on Xbox360 for many years and only started on PC this week. In the 360 version, starting up consoles in-game would make them click repeatedly, and triggering land mines would have them beep repeatedly.

But in the PC version, they seem to only click/beep in a slow, stuttering fashion. As in, in the 360 version, a triggered landmine would go "Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep", and on PC it goes "Beep...beep...beep..."

Is there an issue with the sound in my game? Or is this normal? Can I fix it? It makes it more difficult for me sometimes to know when I've triggered mines or how long they have before popping.

I'll see what I can make for you. No promises but I made one and am testing it now.

EDIT: ok so that did not go so well, toooooo fast way too fast, as soon as I got close, bang.

I'll try and lower the speed just a bit...........
