"The mod was uploaded, but the file failed." Please help.

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to upload a new mod to Beth's site. For the life of me, I cannot upload a new mod to bethesda.net because of two reasons: One, it stops 'trying' to upload at at least 30% of the way. And two, what ends up (and keeps) happening is that I get this stupid freaking error that says, with a red progress bar, "The mod was uploaded, but the file failed", hence the title of this post. This is really starting to get on my nerves that I cannot upload. My internet is all good, and the file is a mere 50 MB. Can someone help figure out what the matter is here?

Do you try a widenet search (Google, DDG, Brave) before you ask for stuff? I used 'reddit bethesda mod upload'. Maybe this could help.

Beginner's Guide - Using Creation Kit to upload Skyrim SE mods to Bethesda.net (for PC or XboxOne) ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27189 )

Or - ( https://steamcommunity.com/app/377160/discussions/0/364040166666534053 )

One of the comments I saw said something about a Discord site for Bethesda, that they will discontinue or have discontinued their branded support site.

Well, because apparently is the creator of this post. He apparently hasnt got an answer that solves anything yet. But I agree. I looked things up for him myself, and no result seemed to be relevant.
