darkjaffar
Hi. I tried out Loup Sombre's Immersive First Person mod and my game only had problems with it. It didn't even create an immersive first person body on a male Nord, which even what the mod says it was most optimized to match. If there was one, it was placed far behind the head, so you would never even see it. Deadly Reflex completely breaks it when you use one of the actions it provides, or anything that moves the camera that the mod doesn't anticipate for that matter. So there was no benefit to it, and only created problems, so I was just going to uninstall it. To uninstall, the readme says you have to run your save with it enabled and hit the star key while in a menu. This will disable the scripts, and from there you should save and proceed with the uninstall. I tried hitting the star on numpad, but it simply doesn't work. Hitting the 8 key, the only other place that has a star on it on the keyboard, will not do anything either, perhaps excepting display the current item/spell assigned to the key in certain menus. I don't even know how a person with a laptop and no numpad would ever succeed in uninstalling this mod, assuming the star key on the numpad is the one they are talking about. No numpad is common on laptops. The effects of the mod are still present even after removing the .esp. Any other ideas on how to uninstall this thing? Even if I disable the esp and go to a save before I enabled it, it still is in effect. Thanks.
cppcooper
Laptops have fn keys for their numpads, a virtual number pad if you will. Most cases anyways. Open your inventory, press the * it should say something. close save. disable the esp and delete the associated animations::Download a new copy of the mod, if you can't find the files That is how I uninstalled that glitchy ball of gay. My animations froze in place so much.. so retarded to look down to see a stationary person move along as if running.
BossDweebe
Disabling the esp will not always stop the ill effects. If there were more files than the esp then use a copy of the mod as a reference to find the files in game. Then trash 'em EDIT: Whoops - you did that....(earlier save)and just in case - did you reboot ? It may help finish the uninstall.
darkjaffar
Hm. Got it to uninstall just by pretending you aren't supposed to use the star key thing. Apparently just disabling and going to an older save wasn't enough. I had to delete everything related to the mod then load a before it was installed save. I didn't delete everything in previous attempts because the readme tells you to do that star thing first and I hadn't got the star part working yet. Seems you can ignore it. Thanks for the help anyhow.
