sspain22
Hey everyone,I've tried creating my character in Fallout 3 to look like Bruce Campbell (it's not perfect but it's as close as I can get) and have been playing my character similar to Ash Williams from the Evil Dead trilogy (mainly Army of Darkness). Now I've been looking for a while for proper clothing to wear, but I haven't found anything in the game and I couldn't find any mods that would work, so I just figured I'd go ahead and try to make my own. I'm planing on making something like Ash's mangled shirt from Army of Darkness and maybe just use one of the prewar outfits for reference, or just find a way to alter it. Problem is, I have no clue where to start. I've downloaded the GECK, but can't seem to find a way to alter clothing with it and there's nothing in the tutorials on it, and I don't what (or if there even is) another program I can use. So it'd be great if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks.
neunen
at the top of this forum, is a stickied thread called "New to the GECK and modding? Look here"thats a good place to start, hence it is stickied.. there are also various links to tutorials in my signature and more to be found out on the web. thinking aloud: this signature is really saving me a lot of time from having to look up links over and over.. i wish i had done this sooner. :sorcerer:
Tony the Wookie
to create a new mesh for the shirt you would need Blender 3D (free) or 3ds Max (not very free)
