wendelgrey
I just started a new game with MCD v1.12. After I left the Census office I moused over my level and the tooltip said "0/200", both before and after running the mod's start script. I couldn't find anything about this in the docs or online. I also started a new game with only MW, BM, TB, and MCD enabled, same thing. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? Also, does anyone have any general opinions on this mod or recommendations for any other levelling mods? I searched 'Mod Talk' for threads with 'level' and 'levelling' in the title, but that was not useful at all... Edit: I'm running Steam GOTY with both expansions. MCP 2.1 and MGE were active in all cases. FWIW though I ruled them out by starting another new game with only MW+BM+TB active. Spirithawke
While this will not be helpful to your current problem, I note you said you are using MCP2.1. Be aware that you should NOT use the level uncap patches of this in combination with leveling mods such as MCD and GCD.
wendelgrey
Actually, you did me a big favor. I didn't have the MCP uncap features activated and had completely forgotten they existed. Reading about the levelling system made me think it might not be as bad as I remembered (maybe I was thinking about Oblivion?). And other than MCD and GCD Lean (which causes a crash on new game) the levelling mods seemed like they could be more trouble that they were worth. But I really wanted skills to be uncapped. So thanks for reminding me I can do that without a levelling mod.
Spirithawke
I meant to say this before...but it slipped my mind. I am unsure what version of GCDLean you were using, but, many people use Gluby's version of normal GCD and are very happy with that.
