Bigger Big Town

I just started messing around with the GECK today and I was thinking of ideas to put in my first mod.

 

I was thinking how disappointing Big Town was for me. I thought, what if some of the first kids who left Big Town tried settling there but when the Slavers and Mutants began harassing them they took to the sewers. There they tried to fortify their position by blowing up any tunnels <manholes, sewage grates ect.> that would allow attackers into their new safe haven. Of course then there is the problem of how they get out, and why they haven't been back up to collect the new settlers of Big Town. I thought maybe there was a cave in due to the blasting they were doing in the sewers and the path which they had intended to be their exit was now blocked leaving them trapped inside. I then thought that maybe the only way in would be through a mine or cave which I would also create but unfortunately for the sewer settlers they could not escape that way because of some obstacle or creatures. When the hero battles his way through the mine into the sewer and saves the sewer settlers they would be close to death as the only water supply they would have would be sewer water, and food would have to be hunted from mole rats in the sewers.

 

What do you think? Any ideas, comments, criticisms?

 

If I am able to finish this mod I have some other Ideas such as to expand the quest line involving vault 87 and include more depth into the FEV experimentation.
