I want to bring the patron of the Thieves Guild, Nocturnal, into Morrowind via a mod. However, the assets are from Skyrim and I have no idea what I'm doing in Nifscope.

A little help?

I don't know anything about Morrowind to be clear (I just saw this on the recently posted box). From my knowledge, its not possible to port assets between the different games. I've never heard of a mod that does this. The closest are 'ports' of some Oblivion mods to Skyrim, but those are technically re-makes. They don't use any of the original assets, other than maybe sound files. On another note, the game engine probably wouldn't be able to handle the model. I've seen no evidence of anyone trying to improve the models in morrowind, or putting them on par with skyrim, which makes me think it simply can't handle a model with that many polygons. Yes, they were both made with the creation kit, but Morrowind uses a version that was made nearly a decade before Skyrim's. The thing got a lot of updates within that time period. Also, the Skyblivion team didn't have any luck finding a way to port any of Oblivion's assets into Skyrim. If the Beyond Skyrim project can't do it, I'd say its simply impossible.

If you want Nocturnal in your game, you're just going to need a new model made from scratch.

Well, I did find two tutorials. One here and another here. The former lays out a method for converting game assets from Skyrim which is not exactly what I need and the latter is just vague.

I also vaguely remember seeing some converted assets from, I believe it was Oblivion, on Nexus.

Thanks for your reply though.

And, as an aside, nothing's impossible in this world, save from physical immortality and evading taxes.
