Kraeten Posted January 2, 2014 Share Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) If you're a student, I highly recommend downloading the free student edition of 3ds max. It's much more user friendly imo. Plus, you'd be able to follow all of Nightasy's excellent tutorials since he also uses 3ds max. The only additional software you need with 3ds max is Nifskope, NifUtilsSuite, and the nif exporter Max plugin you can download here on the Nexus.
