seanms1991
Hey, I recently tried making a copy of the ingame glasses, however, everytime I copy the object entry when I try them on in game they hang sideways on the side of my face (even if I only changed the object ID). I have no idea how to fix this, so I'm hoping someone here does. If someone would help I'd highly appreciate it, though it's no big deal as it's not suppost to be a big thing though if still, be nice to get this to work. Thanks in advance. neunen
i dont mean this to be offensive whatsoever, but did you do a search before posting this?its has been answered about 15 times already. you need to click character>update facegen compatibility in the geck, more or less, it only works when the item is in someones inventory and sometimes you have to screw around with .egm files to get it to work, but thats how its done heres what i turned up by searching for "sideways" in this forum http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?act=Se...ite=%2Bsideways on the other hand though youve reminded me of something else that needs to go into my signature
mechine
There's probably a better way. (hey there is look at the above post, yay) I would fix this by opening the .nif in meshes, with nifscope. Which would require nifscope an a tons of other shareware Along with the basic knowlege of how nifscope works It wouldn't be super easy though, probably tough an anoying. I had the same problem when I created a new item in GECK I think it was a hat an it was rendered sideways, but then some of the stuff in FOOK does the same thing depending on the sex of the charicter. I've also found spent shell casings that were in the wrong direction, both in vanilla an in mods, textures miss aligned, ect Placing clothing items in nifscope is kind of hard. The other stuff is just rotate it 90 degrees an take a guess, It's easy to align textures with it thoughit's called adjust UV or something like that, which pretty much leads to retextures. Yeah I tried the tutorials an all that, got about halfway thru the first one an never went back. It's just too much to grasp without the basic knowlege of how the program workswhich you get from hours an hours wasting time trying to do stuff with in itAnd failing again and again miserably, until you run out of the house screaming with your arms flapping around... But fear not there may be another fix for this, that is just in GECK I don't know it though, because I run into the same problem. :D
Riven1978
I clicked the above link and got a Board message saying the topic didnt exist, soooooooo i will star by telling you that you will need to make an EGM file to go with your glasses (it HAS TO be in the same folder from what i have found with my cat ears mod) The program you will need for this is The Conformulator Good Luck hehe PM me if you have troubles figuring out the program
