TeeFwock
firstly, this is in the wrong spot, theres a technical support thread in the fallout 3 section. You should check to make sure that the .esp are in the correct folder in your install directory (they should be in the data folder) and I would suggest using FOMM if you haven't got it already. mechine
Well some mods don't have a .Esp in them, just reskins of vannila content I didn't look at what you downloaded. So I don't know what's in there. One of FO3edits many uses can be a quick way to find a item number if it's not displayed in the read me. I know better an I still don't read all of the read me It's just hard when you first get started anyway. If it was me I'd start with finding a good patch set up Which depends on your system an what you want 1 0 0 15 plus the fake patch Offers the original VATS stuff like shooting grenades out of the air 1.4 plus the fake patch I don't know what this one does 1.5 plus FO3edit master update Offers hands off easy use of the set up Also the patches past 1.0 15 allow fixes for people with more than one grapics cardYou could probably argue about all three of them Shoot for a time I ran 1.0 35 which everybody said was aweful and just had a few crashes here an there After you get a set up I'd download FOMM (fallout mod manager), FOSE (fallout script extender) Then add mods to it, and FO3edit would be helpful even if you were running 1.4 1.0 15 fake patched Just to get a quick way to view mods what they do an posible errors. Also the 1.5 plus FO3edit master update way sort of forces you to make a good load orderbecause if there is a error then the master update program stops, an the mod which caused the error is shown and you can either delete or open with Geck to try to fix (which is just opening it an letting Geck auto fix then save) FO3edit says that it's better to get the creator of the mod to fix it for you though so It's a real nightmare, but also there are things that are a lot more difficult Just takes time to learn is all
