pyroman666
There are Wheel of time spoilers below, its a book series of amazing scope and depth, if your a fan of Lord of the Rings, this would be your kind of book...so if your interested in reading it just skip the part on the Angreal.... Pronunciation: TRAHL-lohks Aginor created the Trollocs during the War of Power as soldiers for the Shadow. They are huge, maybe eight feet tall. They have the body of a man and the head and feet of an animal such as a bear, bird, wolf or goat. They are very strong, but they are too stupid, lazy and cowardly to be good soldiers. Trollocs see well in the dark, but bright light blinds them. Some can track by scent or sound, but they are lazy and easily give up. They kill for the pleasure of killing. They cannot be trusted unless they are afraid of you, and then not far. Trollocs reproduce. Occasionally the offspring is a Myrddraal. Pronunciation: MUHRD-draal aka: Eyeless, Fade, Halfman, Lurk Myrddraal are the spawn of Trollocs and the taint of evil is even stronger in them. They are man-sized and are pasty white. They have no eyes, yet they see like eagles. They have powers that stem from the Dark One. They are no match for an Aes Sedai, but they can best most warriors. The look of a Fade inspires fear in men. In the Trolloc Wars, Dreadlords commanded Fades that led Trollocs into battle. All Myrddraal are male. They are not sterile but they cannot reproduce with either humans or Trollocs. There are other shadow spawn though I dont aim to list them all... I dont know if anyone could make the Power system in Oblivion...That would be an undertaking... but these modify the powers, and something like them in Oblivion would be very cool Pronunciation: anh-gree-AHL, sah-AHN-gree-ahl, tear-AHN-gree-ahl Angreal allow anyone capable of channeling to handle a greater amount of the Power than would be safe or even possible unaided. Sa'angreal are similar to, but more powerful than, angreal. The amount of the Power that can be wielded with a sa'angreal compares to the amount that can be handled with an angreal as the Power wielded with the aid of an angreal does to the amount that can be handled unaided. Unlike angreal and sa'angreal, each ter'angreal was made to do a particular thing. Some require channeling, while others may be used by anyone. It had been thought that the knowledge of creating these items had been lost, but Elayne has discovered how to do so. Some draw both saidin and saidar, even if only one person uses it. (ACoS,Ch20) Ter'angreal in close proximity can sometimes interact with unexpected and dangerous consequences. (TDR,Ch23) One does not have to actually touch an angreal to draw the One Power through it. (TFoH,Ch21)
