bloodguard
i got a mod to work but now when i put the mod files into obmm\mods they wont work. What am i doing wrong? Does it have to do with obmm or the file type? Q:- Not sure I understand your Prob?, did you mean you put all the files into the OBMM/MODS Folder. Only ?.OMOD file belong in that folder. If its there(?.OMOD) it should have a "GREEN_LIT BOX" Left of file name Select "ACTIVATE"option (bottom of box). You might have to Organize your load order too (Left Side/Move up_Move down) to avoid conflicts(?) If its "NOT" there follow steps below(This is what works for me anyways)You should place Mod contents into a temp folder (1) Create the Temp Folder, Say C: Mod Temp Folder (2) Open OBMM & select the "CREATE" option, then the "add folder"option(Browse for Folder) Ex C: Mod Temp Folder. (3) or you can extract to Install folder of game ( Example c:\games\oblivion\data). don't forget to place the *.esp into the data folder. start "game launcher" to make sure that the new *.esp is in list, select it to enable if needed. (I don't think I Missed any steps in that) Hope this helps, Good Luck
Ranokoa
Whenever you are making a mod, by default the CS should save to the folder Oblivion/Data. ALWAYS save to this folder for ESP. You know an ESP is an ESP because if you havent made it an omod already, then you dont have to worry about it being anything else. Just save it to oblivion/data, look for it on the opening menu of the launcher by clicking Data, double click to enable and Wala, its there.
