[SSE] Auto Unequip Helmet

I'm not a modder, have still not tried making mods.

But I just wonder; Why hasn't anyone managed to make the same very simple Auto Unequip Helmet mod for SSE, as created for LE by Alek and uploaded by mitchalek? (And only 3KB file size)

 

All I want is the helmet off when not in battle, but instead, all I can find is a lot of complicated mods for unequipping and reequipping a lot of different kind of helmets with a multitude of variation choices, while even the Amazing Follower Tweaks mod has managed to implement the very simple choice of only wearing helmet during battle; no matter what helmet they wear.
Maybe I will try if that mod also function for SE without crashing?

Or maybe thats a so easy mod that even old me can learn to make the mod myself?

Many LE mods work ok in SE, you only need to manualy install the mod with your mod manager. Having said that it is always a risk so back up and save clean save first, just in case something goes wrong.

First, the game would not even load, but after activating the bsa, it loaded and has worked fine until now. Helmet auto equip/unequip, just as expected.
