herophantus
I think camera mods are extremely underrated and have the potential to really improve the immersion of Oblivion (think third-person view in Gears of War, head-bobbing in Dark Messiah of Might and Magic). Anyway, the few mods that I have found for camera effects have come close to being something that can improve the overall experience, but some things bother me about them: Gears of War Camera 1.1Here is a great idea! Unfortunately, it completely replaces first-person perspective. One of the great things about Oblivion is that you can use two very different perspectives depending on your preference. If this mod could be applied such that it replaces third-person, it could maintain that unique feature of Oblivion and still be very cool. Deadly Reflext - Breathing Motion, Head Bobbing and Bow Sway 1.11Another really great idea. Not a spectacular execution, but it's still pretty refreshing. The bummer on this one is that the breathing motion/head-bobbing persists even in third-person. Personally, this doesn't make sense to me (but mainly I just want both of the mods to work together  ). I'm sure there probably aren't very many people out there who care about this, considering how unpopular these types of mods seem to be, but if you're out there and know any way to improve on these, I think that it would be great. herophantus
Hah thanks. Those actually led me to another mod that's fairly new and in beta. HERE is a mod called "Oblivion FPV Reanimated" which looks very promising, in case anyone's interested. He's adding a very immersive head-bobbing effect and a few other FPV (first person view) enhancements. If this gets finished, I could see it being on a lot of people's list of essentials for Oblivion mods, at least for realism.
