Mod Request: Auto-Pausing for triggers that happen in real time?

Good day! I've just discovered the forums here, though I've used the Nexus to mod a good number of titles. I'm hoping that a real pausing option might be made available for single players upon release, but in its current state Baldur's Gate 3 doesn't support proper pausing. I'm hoping that the very talented mod community here might be capable of creating a real pausing option for the single players. Would it be possible, for instance, to have the game fully pause when a trap or enemy is sighted? If something like this would be too complex for these engines to handle, would anyone here be capable of creating a game pauser that works similar to the "Game Pauser by Jase" utility that is available through Steam? Ideally, I'd like to properly be able to pause Baldur's Gate 3 in its entirety (cutscenes included) *and* have the ability to queue an action. Such as being able to fully pause and being able to target an NPC. If anyone here might be somewhat familiar with how pausing for the titles created with the Infinity and Aurora engines work, this is how I'm hoping to see my pausing experience here work for the single player game. Pressing escape and/or entering full turn based mode do not pause the full game at all. There are still a number of things happening in real time, in either case, that can effect the player and party members. Thank you in advance.
