SilverLyric
First off I'm not sure if this is the correct section to put this in, sorry if it isn't.Okay so I'm sure most of you already gathered what this is, when I create a character and then go to change the skin tone, only the head changes. The body stays whatever it was before, but interestingly if you use the random button the body changes to that colour but then still won't change if you move the sliders, only the face. This is extremely annoying, and makes it really hard to create a normal semi-good looking character. This arose after I installed some mods, not sure which and I know that's a pain, but I've got hundreds on. I use Breezes new vegas male bodies, worked fine, installed a bunch more and it didn't. E.g. FCO, for the hi-res face textures etc, that all works fine. Now I've googled this and people say to go to Fallout.ini, FalloutPrefs, or the Fallout_Default in the directory to change either lines 'bUseFaceGenHeads=' or 'bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=' so that they end in 1 and not 0. I have done this, in all three files, and nothing. Doesn't help at all, and I really have no idea how to fix it. Can anyone help me? P.s, it happens on ALL races, not just custom ones. Also, NPC's are unaffected by this. Any help is very much appreciated!! Thanks in advance,- Pete*Edit* I have also tried Archive invalidation, it said that somewhere but that didn't help either. greenhell666
I have the exact same issue and I have not installed any mod that changes the mains character. I start a new game and then close New Vegas. When I open the game again the face of my character is using the right skin color, but the body uses a yellowish skin color, like the raider skin color. I've edited the .ini files and it does not fix it.
