Highlord90
My Slaves of Cyrodil was released yesterday with some success (compared to my previous efforts) and I'm ready to move onto doing the Outer Districts but any attempt to make this compatable with Open Cities Classic has failed. Anyone able to give me a hand or idea on how to make this work?
DrakeTheDragon
In case of Open Cities we're looking at totally different Cells and even Worldspaces. If you put your NPCs into the regular Vanilla Oblivion cells for the cities, with Open Cities they will simply not be there. They 'are' inside your game, and there are even (debug) ways to access these seperate cells, but you didn't actually put your NPCs into the "open" cities' cells to begin with. That's why almost no mods changing a Vanilla city cell have any effect at all on their Open Cities counterparts. In order to make your mod compatible, you will likely have to redo all your changes to the Vanilla city cells over again inside the Tamriel Worldspace where the Open Cities are located. To be able to do that, you'll have to make an ESP which requires the respective Open Cities ESP/ESM (don't know where the cities are put into the Tamriel Worldspace anymore) as a parent, by loading both, your's and their's, into the CS so you can access the Open Cities to place your NPCs there. Highlord90
It comes with the esm and 3 esps, would I just open the Outer Districts esp if I was planning on putting them there?
