Yet another load order topic & merged patch question

I tried creating a merged patch, but it doesn't work. The menu stalls at the Brotherhood soldier and I have to ALT+DEL, which crashes the game. The Eve.esp is from an older version of Eve (probably asking for trouble ^_^), since RobCo didn't even load without it in FO3Edit

 

To be honest I haven't had many problems, just that I seemingly can't talk to the K-9 dog added by FOOK. I believe that's a conflict with Ties that Bind, since during the birthday party scene he's not at his usual location (behind the door rather than next to Gomez)

As such, with that many mods, I'm probably responsible for my own problems (lol).

No main menu is usually an orphaned record. A record that is no longer present in a plugin's master or has been repurposed and is of a different formtype now. Odds are that you are looking for an outdated compatibility patch.

 

And in your case, it is possibly my own patch...try to start the game without "CrowdedCities, RefurbishDLC - patch.esp" enabled. Is "Mart's Mutant Mod - Project Beauty.esp" for MMM 6.x?

Game works fine without merged patch. However with it, it locks at the Brotherhood soldier. I can only ALT-TAB, and Fallout3.exe crashes then. Without it, it runs, but I read that a merged patch is a panacea for clashes between mods.

 

I have the latest version of MMM (at least the most recent one on the Nexus (in my mind, most recent is better - maybe not?). I read somewhere else that some of its included plugins are redundant, tho.

 

On a side note, maybe I should uninstall EVE since it's apparently included in FOOK2? Or the newer version will overwrite the whole thing.

 

I'l try unticking your patch (thanks for uploading it, btw) and create another MP.

Tweaked load order. Was getting insta-crashes when I opened Pip-Boy either when it came to items or apparel.

 

Removed FO3 Error Fixes.esp since it is apparently redundant, with the new Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch. Now it insta-crashes when I try to open any game?!

"BoS Diversification.esp" has a deleted reference that FOOK2 will call in a quest script which is not a good thing. The diversification of NPC weapons and armor is quite good in FOOK2. You might consider not using those other two diversification mods.
