kirshan
I run oblivion on my f:/drive since I've moved it there I can no longer install OMOD's. is there another way to crack OMOD's and install manually? Please help. Yes I have OBMM, for some reason it won't install OMOD's to my f/drive.
BossDweebe
I have Oblivion on D with no problems, but I only have threeOMOD's.Most mods come with OMOD and manual install options. I haven't tried it, but if you right click on the mod name you willget a list of options. One of them should extract the files for you. Are you using Vista ? It may be an issue with UAC. phforNZ
Needing a little more info... You say you moved it to f:\ drive? Do you mean, uninstalled, then reinstalled on f:\? Or did you just Cut and Paste it from wherever to f:\? If its the first one... i dunno. If its the second case, you'll probably find its the registry entries mucking things up (or, more accurately, you moving oblivion via cut/paste that did it). There's more to installed data than just whats put into the file path you specified. If you happen to have someone tech savvy available, ask them to change the Oblivion path in the registry. (Bethesda Softworks > Oblivion) I could give instructions, but this is one of those things that, if you stuff it up, you can cause BIG problems. kirshan
Yes moved it from c:/ to F:/. yes I cut and and pasted it,I run over 200 mods, some of which are my own, and didn't want to have to replace them. why I didn't renamed a couple files and move them , and reinstall oblivion on F:/ I'm not sure. I have tweaked oblivion.registery and repathed all oblivion related programs. OBMM works fine for everything except OMOD's. I really have no issues other then OMOD's not installing. kirshan
NM I figured it out, I have to manually Click and Drag the OMOD into"mods" folder within OBMM, then it works fine.
