CTD Crash with no log generated

I just did, as well. I have 64 GB of ram on board, so I don't think that I have had a problem, but set my pagefile at 64 GB on my C: drive as well (got lots of room), to make sure.

I have 64M of primary Memeory too. But my page file was only set to 10G-20G. I boosted it to a min of 20G and a max of 40G. I think that ought to be enough but if not, I'll boost it a bit more.

... PS> Admittedly OT, but what's this new "hide" button I see next to edit multiquote quote below my posts?

I keep my C: drive as clean as I can - using less than 200 GB of about 900. Installed all that I can on secondary drive(s).

Aside from my desktop and its child folders, (and in my case, skyrim) I try to as well. I just (last week) moved vortex's file archive (downloads) off my primary drive to save ~200G, which for a 500G primary is considerable space savings

That's intentional.

Does exactly what it says on the button, hides your post from view.

thanks for the reply. Ok, not exactly sure why I'd want to hide a post, but I suppose if I consider it long enough, I can think of times where I *might.

Redundant postings, the occasional/accidental multiposting of the same message, a reply to something you since realize contained incorrect information...

Things like that, plus a few others I'd imagine.

Ah...yes...I understand now. Thank you for the explanation. It just *looked* like the sort of thing an admin might have at his/her disposal for rapid handling of "untoward" posts...

Yeah so the following text is getting added to the Crash Log Analyser at my suggestion:

You should be aware that Skyrim interacts very strangely with the Windows page file, and makes large demands on it even when memory usage is well within physical memory limits. If the page file is too small, Skyrim will crash, either closing without a log or spitting out a log that highlights tbbmalloc.dll as a possible culprit. This is because tbbmalloc.dll cannot allocate memory for use if the page file is too small, even if graphics card memory and system memory are readily available.

So long as you have space on your hard drive to accommodate it, try increasing your page file size to two or three times the size of your system memory. This may prevent unexplained crashes, and may also improve your overall performance.

TBH 40 GB should be enough if you're on 16-32 GB of RAM. Working a charm for me!
