LE Leather suit

Ok this Idea is for female characters mainly, it's an armor Idea, and it's related to skimpy female armors but please bear with it as this is actually meant for immersion.

 

I've had a problem with skyrim's light armors for a while now, when you look at most of them they simply don't look light except for a few early game ones. When I look at the dragonscale armor it's true it looks lighter than the dragonplate armor but it still doesn't seem very light and functional to me. same for elven armor and for glass armor. especially when you consider that females are on average weaker (in terms of muscle strength) but more agile then men, in my opinion that should show in their armors (at least the light ones) and on that point skimpy armors have potential, they don't impede the mobility of their wearer.

 

However skimpy armors, as you all know, just don't provide enough protection, from scratches, cuts, blunt force and obviously cold. which is why I came up with this idea why not wear a padded leather bodysuit under the armor, (could be made compatible with frostfall). this could provide with the realism needed to make skimpy armors more immersive than vanilla armors.

 

Now I am aware that there are a few bodysuits out there for females some of them look really good and all (I especially like the dark disciple's armor for it's realistic leather look) they all lack one important thing .. their own armor slot, they all use the normal torso slot and so cannot be combined with other armors.

 

 

So finally here's what I would like: A leather bodysuit that would go under other armors. (maybe give it a turtleneck so you can see it sticking out from under male armors)

 

I wanted to ask for someone to overhaul all the vanilla light armor meshes but thought this would make things easier =p

 

PS: if the female version was made to work with caliente's bodyslide tool it would be awesome (yes I use the CBBE body, yes I'm a guy and yes I like good looking girls but that doesn't mean I want to see them running around killing dragons in their underwear)

Hey, I don't understand much of modding this game. But I thought it could need some better wear for all races and so on.

The pic reminds me on Saints Row 4 Spacesuit. But how this could be mixed with Standard Armor. Pff what do I know.

Maybe you have to look if there is something similar and try to re-write it, so that it matches your Custom Body. I read this in other sites forums.

And your not the only one that loves good lookin' beautys ^^

I am not 100% sure but I don't think you can make a bodysuit that has its' own body slot, something you can wear under say... a cuirass or the savior's hide if you know what that is in skyrim.

If someone could make a body texture of the leather suit (like full body underwear), this mod would allow it to be equipped and displayed beneath armors...in theory. Seems the mod has some bugs, but from the sound of it, it would accomplish what OP is asking for.
