Different gunplay and movement mechanics in RDO vs RDR2

Am i the only one who have noticed this?


Something that never seemed to have been discussed is the different movement and gunplay in the online part of the game.

Which is one thing i really enjoy with the multiplayer, the much more responsive and ''tight'' movement makes the game feel more like a modern third person shooter where its easier and more fun to not just stay behind one cover the whole gunfight, but instead to run and gun.


Take for example when your running and then aim down sight, in online your character won't slow down to a walking speed but will just keep same pace as before you aimed. But in story you start walking really slow which destroys the pacing.


A question I have is if its possible to import the more fast paced movement and gunplay from online to the story mode?
